My Story

A journey through faith, technology, and community building

I'm Marcus A. Noel, and at my core, I'm a builder, a visionary, and a believer that our greatest innovations come from blending spirituality, technology, and culture.

Growing up, I felt this pull to create solutions that empower people—especially the next generation—to realize their unique power and potential. That calling drove me from JP Morgan's banking halls to the White House, from media production studios to global stages, always asking: "How do we harness our gifts for the greater good?"

TL;DR

My early journey began at JP Morgan, where I sharpened my financial skill set and learned how money moves—and how it sometimes fails to move toward the causes and communities that need it most.

Eager to engage deeper in impact work, I served as a fellow in the Obama Administration at the Department of Education. That season opened my eyes to the interplay between education, technology, and policy, and set me on a path to create ventures that push boundaries.

Early Career

Founding multiple organizations taught me that true innovation emerges from a blend of spiritual grounding and fearless creativity. Whether I was collaborating on EdTech platforms or designing mentorship programs for Gen Z entrepreneurs, I found that the best ideas come when we align what we're building with a higher purpose.

It's not just about coding, pitching, or scaling; it's about centering people—especially marginalized voices—in the process.

Entrepreneurial Spirit

I've had the privilege to produce and consult for platforms like Complex, Nickelodeon, and BET, where I saw firsthand the power of culture. By weaving diverse stories into the mainstream, we reach hearts and minds that standard business pitches often overlook.

Being an ordained minister has only deepened my conviction that shifting culture requires more than data points; it requires a genuine spiritual spark that ignites lasting change in our communities.

Media & Ministry

As co-founder of Goshen Group and partner in Black Wood Ventures, I've dived headfirst into projects that unite commerce with cultural and social impact.

My roles include an advisory position with Metta World Peace, IndyGeneUS Bio, where we secured a historic $243M allocation in Elon Musk's $8B xAI Series B, helping ensure diverse representation in genomics and AI. Every venture I touch aims to uplift people, whether by bridging gaps in healthcare, economic empowerment, or workforce development.

I'm honored to be recognized by Forbes as a 30 Under 30 entrepreneur and by the United Nations as one of the "Most Influential People of African Diaspora Under 40."

Current Ventures

Looking ahead, I'm championing what I call "The Future with META 2050." It's a roadmap for aligning cutting-edge tech, cultural empowerment, and spiritual alignment so that together we can tackle issues like educational equity, workforce shortages, and healthcare disparities.

By sharing a larger vision rooted in love and personal agency, I believe we can spark real progress.
